Meet the President/Founder
Ambassador, Dr. Zyra McCloud has converted her passion for excellence into a methodology that has brought about positive changes in education. Although she’d already devoted herself to marriage and motherhood, Ambassador, Dr. McCloud refused to be deterred in her quest for educational reform. By 1987 her passion for excellence in education compelled her to run for the Inglewood School Board. The defining contribution Ambassador, Dr. McCloud made as a school board member was improving parent involvement in schools. During her tenure as President of the Inglewood Council Parent and Teachers Association, she developed a set of skills that allowed her to motivate parents while also teaching them how to affect changes through proper procedures.
Our Vision
To “bridge the gap” by bringing together African-Americans in the U.S.A. with the African Diaspora and other countries at the 2012 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation‟s Annual Legislative Conference and the California CBC Delegation Conference in Washington, D.C. The purpose of this union is to network, partner, collaborate and exchange ideas for financial opportunity and economic growth between the U.S. and under developed countries in Africa, Haiti, and the Caribbean.
